Dr. Rupert Leander Chapman III is Executive Secretary of the Palestine Exploration Fund, London. He has lectured on archaeology and anthropology for a number of years. He has written numerous articles specializing in the archaeology of the Levant, and is co-author of Archaeology and the Bible with Jonathan N. Tubb (British Museum Publications, 1990).
