One of the four matriarchs; Isaac's wife and the mother of Esau and Jacob. She attracted the attention of Eliezer, Abraham's servant who was sent to seek a wife for Isaac, by her kindness in drawing water for him and his camels. She helped Jacob acquire the blessing Isaac had intended for his first-born son, Esau. Her story is recounted in Genesis 24:15–27:46.
