Carta Jerusalem’s scientific committee is a multidisciplinary forum composed of leading scholars. These experts represent every division of Carta Jerusalem’s publications.
The committee will advise on the quality and accuracy of the Carta collection, to review and exchange the most advanced studies and research, and to operate as the scientific authority for Carta Jerusalem’s major publications.
The committee’s main functions:
To advise on quality for Carta publications.
To maintain and foster strong relationships with leading academic institutions and scholars.
To assist in the development of high-impact publications in the fields of biblical research, the ancient Near East and ancient languages.
To contribute to and further the future development of materials for diverse academic disciplines (archaeology, religion, history, culture, politics, sociology, etc.) and for students and scholars interested in the study and promotion of Bible and Holy Land research.
To provide academic assistance for the creation of an extensive electronic database of advanced scientific papers, articles, studies and surveys.
